- [ Lots of stuff about Elementals attacking the Inn absent ]
-
- At Luthor's yell, Redlin looked up from his conversation with Kirkil and
- the Shrouded One, his blue eyes sparkling in the dim light. He turns back
- to the group at the table after a moment. "It would do no good to examine
- the tent if there is no city to save afterword. In other words, I believe
- that we should get involved here."
- With the conclusion of this statement, Redlin stood up quickly and ran
- towards the door, avoiding and injuring large groups of the Rabble who
- stood gawking at the door where Luthor and FireCat (Who he does not know)
- had been standing just moments before.
- It took him less than 3 seconds to reach the door and see for himself
- just what was being fought. He emerged from the inn just in time to
- witness the horriffic collision between two of the elementals and the
- transformation of Firecat.

- Redlin, none to happy about something, screamed in either towering anger
- or overwhelming frustration. He did feel better afterward, screaming is
- very good therapy. It was very unfortunate that 3 of the smaller earth
- elementals were attracted to the strong vibrations that this lifeform was
- eminating, much like a battle cry actually.
-
- Redlin was indeed feeling rather frustrated, and these three smaller
- elementals seemed to be a perfect way of releasing his tension. In a blur
- of motion he charged the small group, weaponless. It seemed that he was so
- angry that he forgot all about the sword sheathed on his back.
-
- The coming together of these two groups had results that were as
- surprising as they were unexpected. Redlin moved in so quickly that the
- elementals could not strike him, their slow and clumsy blows hit only air
- as he dived in and landed a punch directly on the chest of one of the
- elementals, driving his hand totally through the creature and reducing it
- to mere earth again. He ducked as the other two puched at his head,
- executing a diving roll that took him out of their punching range for a
- second. He came to his feet with his sword drawn and held at ready. his
- right hand was covered in blood, but that did not lesson his grip.
-
- Screaming his challenge, he launched himself at the two elementals in
- front of him. He did not, however, reach them. The fire elemental,
- deprived of a foe now that Firecat was attacking the water elemental,
- decided to gang up on someone. Redlin found himself engulfed in flames
- before he was halfway through his leap. The sheer concussive force of the
- flame blast threw him through the air and slammed him into the side of a
- small shed, collapsing it.
