    The dead knight lying on top of Mavrius sure was heavy,  and cold.  The
armour was cruching his face and his nose was frozen quite solid, not to
mention other appendages.  He tried, quite unsuccessfully to lift the knight
of him, but Mavrius was no strong man, looks like he'd just have to wait and
freeze until the knight did get up.  Mavrius managed to turn his head in time
to see the werewolf explode and the dog creature mutter something about Hold
Person not working,  ' I'll say ' thought Mavrius, his thoughts back to normal
after the bout of drunkeness, only to be taken over by the frostbite now
gripping his body.

    Mavrius turned his head again to see the wererat with the squished head
rise from the ground, rather unsteadily.  Seeing its wererat friend and
werewolf leader killed by such ominous and dextrous foes it promptly turned
and ran.  Unortunately it was headed straight for the Dragons Inn, where even
more ominous and dextrous foes awaited............
