- [RECAP: Some folks have been kidnapped and kept in a dark room
- for some time. The dark elf finally managed to burn through his
- ropes. In order to cast a light spell, he needed a lens, but the
- only ones he had were the natural ones in his eyes. So upon
- casting, he temporarliy blinded himself.]
-
- As the light spell commenced, the elf heard a door open,
- felt hands grip his arms tightly, smelt something passed under
- his nose. Something sickennnningly sweeaeet and ssssssissspish...
- spishly...
-
- And, again, all went dark.
-
- He woke up with his head lying on a table. There were
- lots of laughing voices around. And the elf could smell ale.
-
- His head sprung up quickly. Blearily but surely, things
- came into focus. He knew where he was. A fishtank had been added,
- but this was definitely the Dargon's Inn. Obviously, he'd been
- rescued. Groggily, he made his way to the bar. He reached into
- his pouch (all right, he had his stuff back, too) and pulled out
- some cash. To the crowd, he said, "Whoever rescued me, I'm buying
- your next drink."
-
- Actually, it came out, "Hoover reshkamee, implyinger
- neck stink."
-
- Littlefair suggested he take a room for the night. The
- elf agreed, but he had this nagging feeling he really ought to be
- looking for someone. But who? And why?
-
- As his head hit the pillow, he wondered what happened to
- the others who'd been in that dark room, but of course, they must
- have been rescued, too. A happy ending for allzzzzzzzzzzz...
-
- [ADMIN: Nope, this isn't the end. But I needed a way to
- interact with others. Anyone curious, e-mail me.]
