  24. awfully large leap of faith to believe that someone would state
  25. that we should taint the nations blood supply to get research
  26. money for AIDS when it was not even know that that was the

  45.   No. If this was the type of typical gay rag I'm aquainted with,
  46. there is no way to validate his claim independently unless somebody
  47. has a back issue. I certainly don't and I will lay healthy odds
  48. that my or your library does not either. Practically, there is no
  49. way to independently verify this claim. As I stated earlier, many 
  50. of these rabble rousing letters etc. distributed by fundamentalist
  51. organizations have so many outright lies that I just cannot take
  52. any of their claims seriously until I see some verifyable sources.

  60.   Martin, in his initial post said that gay people were trying
  61. to taint the blood supply. In fact, he claimed that it was "militant
  62. homosexuals," implying that this was some wide spread conspiracy
  63. amongst militant homosexuals (and what exactly *is* a militant 
  64. homosexual? One can only educe from Martin's comments that it is
  65. any homosexual who is in any way visible). He produces one very
  66. suspect reference, and from this we are to take it there is some
  67. wider agreement? 
  68.   Please. This comes as a surprise to me, and good deal of other 
  69. people who have been around for this long. I don't even subscribe 
  70. to what a good deal what many gay groups spout but *this* sort of
  71. characterization is just nonsense.
  72.   Face it, Martin is only interested in creating a hysterical
  73. atmosphere with half truths which suit his agenda of hatred and
  74. bigotry. I cannot imaging what the point of dredging up such drek
  75. is be it true or not. It in no way portrays the reality of the
  76. situation.
  77.   Hatred is not a family value; even for Martin and his unfortunate
  78. children.
