  35. Oh.  A bible--a book that some people base their religion upon.  Does
  36. your quote come from the same bible that has that B.S. about
  37. eating shellfish and wearing fabrics of mixed fibers and also some
  38. pretty strong penalties for adultery?  I've heard that that same bible
  39. calls for rejecting the early holiness code from the area that you mention.
  40. There's also rumor that that bible which has somewhere between 5 and
  41. 10 references to what some people interpret as same sex activites
  42. also has around 300 references to opposite sex activities.

  44. Are all religions based on that book?  If so, how do they choose
  45. which items actually apply and which do not?

  47. It is interesting that people who use this bible in a certain
  48. fashion are free to practice that religion.  However, many of those
  49. same people want to deny that freedom to persons of other religions.
