  12. Some people are so silly.  They say that gays should not be allowed in
  13. the military because the heterosexuals will think that they'll get funny
  14. looks from other guys while in the shower.  Thus, they are saying that
  15. the problem is with the gay person.

  17. It is not.  The problem is with the heterosexual man who *thinks* he's
  18. getting funny looks.  Those who think that gay men are attracted to
  19. anything that moves are prejudiced, just like people were (are)
  20. prejudiced against blacks, asians, and the like.

  22. People have to face the fact that gay people are not animals, and there
  23. are currently thousands of homosexuals in the military who perform very
  24. well.  Hell, they even take showers, and I bet that they don't go around
  25. giving funny looks.  It's time for America to mature, and not to respond
  26. to such issues in such a childlike manner.
