  13. I don't know whether or not the discussion on this topic has answered the
  14. original question (Why don't more women post here?), but it *has* shifted
  15. the gender balance here substantially.  It seems to me that there are
  16. almost more posts from women now then there are from men.

  18. It's kind of a paradox:  right now, the thread is irrelevant, because
  19. there are lots of women posting.  But if the thread were to stop, the
  20. group would probably return to it's previous state of imabalance, and then
  21. we'd need it again.  Kind of similar, in a superficial way, to saying "this
  22. statement is a lie."

  24. That's why I'd like to propose that we officially change the name of the
  25. thread to "Why don't more women post *personals* here?"
