- The best thing to do about the rats that come from lab reserch (generaly
- white?) is to crose them with rats that wernt from lab resurch. The
- reason they are more seceptible to tings is because lab rodent are heavely
- inbreed so that they are a homozygous speaces (this is to make the tests
- more acurate-there is no varience in reaction do to genetics) this makes
- them very seceptible to deasesis. Croses are good because the increas the
- gene pool and are often hardier then pure breads (there are breads of dogs
- that have the same problem)
