- I've got that book! I haven't been able to wade through all the
- man-hating and finish it yet! I'd advise you to read something else, the
- background research is good, but the authors aren't interested in an even
- handed presentation of the facts, they want to push matriarchy (as you
- noticed). I have a real problem with this book as do many of my friends who
- have tried to read it. These are the REAL female supremacists and they are
- scarey!
- I once read an essay by a "Dwarkinite" feminist about this book. She
- concluded that the perfect society, based on Sjoo and Mor's research is one
- where three quarters of the male population is "swept away" and the remainder
- is "georaphicly restrained" and used for breeding! She liked the idea. I didn't
- like the idea, or her.

- - Ashley,
-
- who isn't an ANYTHING supremacist.
