  15. The original poster says she's "not a feminist". This summer, I heard a
  16. piece on NPR where a woman being interviewed (it may have been on Nat'l
  17. Woman's Day) said she believed in equal pay, and equal respect, etc, but
  18. *she* wasn't a feminist". When asked what she thought of as "feminist",
  19. she replied, "That's those bra-burners, aren't they?".

  21. I could have *SWORN* feminism was all of what the woman said she believed in.
  22. "Bra-burning" was nothing more than a symbolic act, and had *NOTHING* to
  23. do with the actual beliefs. *SHEEEESH* Talk about accepting brainwashing....!
