  16. Again, that assumes that a matriarchal
  17. culture would be a "mirror image" of 
  18. the patriarchal one.  I don't think
  19. that one can so automatically make 
  20. that assumption.

  22. Again, I have a belief that women 
  23. have essentially different values than
  24. men; the "why" here is irrelevant.  It
  25. may well be that patriarchal condition-
  26. ing is entirely "in the head" and not
  27. "in the genes" at all.  If so, by
  28. changing the focus of the culture from
  29. the center of power-over expressed by
  30. patriarchy to the center of power-from-
  31. within expressed by matriarchy, the 
  32. culture would produce men with a matri-
  33. archal conciousness and a more equal
  34. society as a whole would be created.

  37. that focus itself before we destroy
  38. ourselves and our planet.
