  14. I felt that during these "Enlightened" times I could be more direct about my
  15. beliefs, so while having lunch with a person from work I was asked what my
  16. beliefs were (who knows why?).
  17.  
  18. I have known this person for about a year and a bit now so I though that
  19. she could keep an open mind and at least listen, boy was I wrong!
  20.  
  21. As soon as I mentioned Wicca and the Craft (no  further details just these
  22. two words), first she looked at me for a time (in silence),  then laughed...

  24. A asked her why and all she could say was "that's NOT a religion", I was
  25. ready to throw some bad "shit" her way but regained my senses.  I tried
  26. to calmly explain that "The Old Religion" has been around for a very long
  27. time and is older than Christianity and Islam (she's Muslim)... she just
  28. walked away.....

  30. I discovered that my "friend" has a VERY closed mind and wouldn't even give
  31. me the decent respect to atleast listen (she asked?)....

  33. In any event, I learned a lesson, its no safer out there then as it was in
  34. the past (during the Inquistition)....
