- I'm not sure if this would work as well on a large-scale project, but it
- worked great on the wands I've made. I rubbed oil of patchouli on my oak
- wand and carnation essential oil on my hawthorne wand. It polished them
- beautifully and the smell lasted for months. I've redone them several
- times now. Both wands are 2-3 years old now, so it looks like essential
- oil doesn't hurt the wood. And the smells have really sunk down in by
- now.
