- I think the loss of Captain Pugwash is very sad. I am a little biased,
- maybe, because John Ryan, who created him, is a cousin of mine. There were
- scurrilous rumours about the meanings of names etc, which were totally
- unfounded and have since been apologised for, but of course the general
- public never get to hear about that. Once you put an idea into people's
- heads, you can't get rid of it, so the chances of him ever reappearing are
- quit slim.

- books.
