- I like Mattacks' drumming on _Nonsvch_, but I still think I prefer
- Peter Phipps, drummer on _Mummer_ and _The Big Express_. And I don't
- really see the XTC connection, except for the "quirky" label.
- Although both XTC and TMBG can write, at times, perfect pop songs with
- memorable hooks. For example, "Birdhouse in Your Soul", "Ana Ng",
- "The Statue Got Me High", etc.
