- A music teacher I had a few years ago mentioned that the world is in
- serious need of a good composer. There hasn't been a new one turn up
- in many years (i.e: there are composers out there, but no one has done
- anything revolutionary recently)

- This is true. There is all sorts on obscure music and literature that
- I spent a considerable amount of time tracking down. After a few
- years of doing this I'm getting an idea of what's out there and what
- to look for, but I wish it wasn't so time consuming.

- I've read about "progressive" forms of music being composed in the 40s
- and 50s that is extremely obscure. I got the idea that these kinds of
- music are somewhat electronic, but way head of their time. Anybody
- know what I'm talking about?
