  10. Man, am I bummed out!  Sugar was scheduled to play with the Boo Radleys
  11. last Saturday (Nov 21st).  But they canceled because Colorado voters passed
  12. an amendment to our state's constitution that deals with homosexuals.  The
  13. amendment was proposed by some conservatives.  I think the name of the 
  14. group is Coloradans for Family Values.  Anyway the amendment was extremely
  15. confusing in its wording, and I think that's why it passed.  Now everbody
  16. is all up in arms about it.  Conventions are being canceled and
  17. entertainers are boycotting the state.  I think that Barbara Streisand
  18. started the whole thing, but I don't think that she's ever performed in
  19. Colorado, so she wasn't making a big sacrifice by boycotting the state.
  20. Anyway, I'm pissed because I was so psyched for that show and they didn't
  21. decide to cancel until the day of the show, which really screwed up my
  22. evening.  Now I have to read all of these postings that will be coming
  23. in about how great the show was in other towns.  I'll be jealous.
