- oh..well...Is presenting another view than yours an insult ? My point
- is , also there are some good stuff in the alternative scene, most of
- it is copy-copy-influenced-junk , maybe it meant something ( long ago)
- ut it doesnot really anymore. the biggest alternative labels are wanna
- bee major - if they dont already belong to a major - , and
- "alternative" itself is just used as a promotional sticker. I did not
- say there was no interesting band , you can even find lyrics that
- really relate to your life, or lyrics that give you the impression
- they relate to your life ( i.e Morrissey ) ( for lyrics that really
- relate to your life , see Peter Astor or Felt ). You can also find
- a lot of stupid junk-throw-away-lyrics ( Blur , Happy mondays,
- Primal Scream , any grunge band ) , but most of the time it doesnot
- matter cause people dont care about the Lyrics Really.
-
- The main point is : There are too many alternative bands , alternative
- doesnot mean anything.
-
- It's my point. and i've seen/read people like Ian Mc Kaye
- , Mark E Smith , black Francis say the same. ( for different reasons
- i agree: Extemism/Sarcasm/money )
