  13. Negativland appeared in Chicago last Saturday.  I then
  14. promptly left town and have just returned.

  16. Mark informed me that Casey Kasem had his fax number changed
  17. almost immediately after _The Letter U and the Numeral 2" came
  18. out.  He gave me the new fax number and the address, so it could
  19. be posted to Internet.

  21. IMPORTANT:  Mark does NOT want anyone sending any "fuck you" type
  22. faxes or letters.  Please do not send anything which shows anger.
  23. It will only hurt our cause of getting him to allow Island to return
  24. The _Negativland U2_ copyright to Negativland.

  26. Mark requests that the faxes and letters we send to Casey be polite,
  27. and even say something such as, "I've been a fan of American Top 40
  28. for years. ... I know you are a big proponent of freedom of speech.
  29. ... Please allow Negativland to recover the rights to their song and
  30. live up to your own words (in an interview, reprinted in _TLUatN2_, Casey
  31. said that he wouldn't care if _Negativland U2_ was returned to Negativland
  32. and rereleased).
