  31. MBV is already being mentioned in the same breath as Cure and Smiths.
  32. MBV has been more influencial than Smiths ever was (and probably more
  33. than Cure too). The whole british indie-scene from pop to rock
  34. has been influenced by MBV. CURVE is a good pop-example.

  36. If you read british music-papers (MM or NME) you'll see MBV
  37. mentioned pretty often in interviews with both british and 
  38. foreign bands. Even Bob Mould has given MBV credit in an interview
  39. recently.
