  24. Uh, unless I'm mistaken, Visual Basic, The Realizer, and even GFA Basic do not
  25. (at least, not currently) provide support for compilation of source code into
  26. standalone EXE files.  I'm sure what Lee was referring to is the run-time
  27. library that has to accompany "compiled" BASIC programs such as these Windows
  28. versions.  I'm not sure if Visual Basic for DOS has a "true" compiler or not.

  30. Of the Windows Basics, only GFA has promised a true compiler RSN.  :)
  31. Hopefully one will be made available for VB 2.0 but the MS folks I spoke with
  32. said no comment.  Maybe that's a good sign?  :)
