  19. Those that bash BASIC & BASIC programmers are of the same ilk as those that
  20. constantly claim "my computer is better than your computer."  Professional
  21. developers may well have a favorite programming language, but the smarter
  22. ones would never totally ignore _any_ other language simply based on some
  23. immature and illogical bias grown out of ignorance.

  25. Does the end user care what a program was written in?  I think not.  What's
  26. important is how well that program does the job at hand.

  28. BASIC has matured tremendously over the years.  Too bad some people do not.
