- Most of the programs that I know of that are written in the various
- flavors of Basic don't advertise that fact. Nevertheless, here are
- a few examples:
- 1. EasyCASE Plus (Evergreen Case Tools)
- 2. FontMinder (Ares Software)
- 3. Windows Sound System (Microsoft)
- 4. StockChart (Young Sotware Works)
- 5. Test (Microsoft) <more of a hybrid, really>

- Of course, these are shrink-wrapped packages in the PC arena, and
- there are probably quite a few people in the government / academic
- community to whom the PC seems to be only a minor blip on their
- horizons. Thankfully, they'll all be formatting their resumes using
- languages like TEX while the rest of us watch them become rapidly
- dwindling specks in our rearview mirros! <g>
