  26. Umm, from what I know, the freeNet is a non-profit organization, not part of
  27. the government.  They may receive some funding (in the form of donations) from
  28. the government, however.

  30. I believe that freeNet is being organized on a trial basis in several cities.
  31. If it is successful, it may spread to other cities.

  33. Instead of whining "Gimme, gimme, gimme!", why don't you do something about
  34. it: contact freeNet and find out when/how it could be set up in Toronto.

  36. By the way, Ottawa is a large high-tech centre, with many software and hardware
  37. developers.
