  29. Actually, there is a friend of mine that I cannot connect with in Talk, or
  30. Talk/Old. And the Finger will not work on his connection (my system here
  31. doesn't know his exists for some stupid reason). Anyway, I went and got an
  32. account on the other computer system here at Drake since our SysAdmin didn't
  33. have a clue as to why I couldn't contact him. (And yes, I did contact him about
  34. it.) I found that for some reason the other system worked with that friend, but
  35. screwed up another one of mine's. :)

  37. I guess you can't win them all of the time. :)

  39. If there is another system there, try it. If not, then if you are at a BitNet
  40. site, try SEND. Or try to use a program such as (what's that one weird command
  41. that in Zork used to always come up with weird stuff?)...
