  15. I have read several messages requesting help on how to setup an
  16. internet node.

  18. My question is on the same line but with the following specifics:

  20. 1. The Internet connection I am looking into is for a under-developed
  21.    country that does not have access to Internet at this moment.

  23. 2. This will be the first connection and I need pointers to the neccesa-
  24.    information and documentation on how to set up that first node that
  25.    will serve as a server for other networks in that country:

  27. 3. The info i need includes:
  28.    Software,
  29.    Hardware,
  30.    Paper work to setup the IP numbers (I guess it may fall within class C)
  31.    Who to contact (NIC? addresses?)
  32.    How the contact must be made (government, university, etc)?
  33.    How much the support people will have to know about setting up sub-nets
  34.    and maintenance?
  35.    Contracts and bureacracy,
  36.    etc...
