  39.   Now, does anyone know how to tell the difference between Dextron and
  40. type F?  I query this because I just installed a used C-4 from a 
  41. salvage yard.  I've been told that you can use dextron where type F
  42. was used, but not vice-versa.  I also heard that these fluids are not
  43. compatible, i.e., don't mix.  
  44.   I filled the unit with dextron, and it seems to work just fine.  I
  45. just don't want to R&R this sucker again.

  47.    What about the ford C-5?  Guys at the trans shop say that it was a 
  48. "nobel effort" at a Heavy Duty version of the C-4.
