- Newer Ford trannies use "Mercon" which is Ford's way of saying "DexronII/
- GM was right", I guess. ATFs have different friction modifiers to work
- with whatever the clutch material is, and these friction modifiers can
- make a big difference in the clutches' engagement and holding power.
