  17.  Newer Ford trannies use "Mercon" which is Ford's way of saying "DexronII/
  18. GM was right", I guess. ATFs have different friction modifiers to work 
  19. with whatever the clutch material is, and these friction modifiers can
  20. make a big difference in the clutches' engagement and holding power.
