- I don't know if any of the above mentioned books can be said to be horror,
- but since I have noticed that a lot of SK fans are reading this group... .
-
- I haven't seen anything about 'Dolores Claiborne' here...
- I bought the book(hardcover--my wallet is now empty!) beofre the weekend and I
- am now getting to the end of it.. It is quite good, but not like anything SK
- has written before. (Except maybe for a short story called 'the Reach' or
- something..).
- 'Dolores' is the story of a woman with that name who lives all her life in a
- small Island comunity.. It is told by the woman to the locasl sheriff..
- It is written in an accent..
-
- I found this a very good book.. but the horror for which I love Stephen King
- is missing.. . .
-
- So much about that..
- As I have bought Gerald's game as well in hardcover I noticed the similarity
- of the cover...My question is: What is this about the 'total eclipse'? It
- seems as if SK is obssesed by the thing.. . It is as he thinks of it as a
- 'perfect' occasion for something to go wrong. Is this maybe to add some
- mysticism to 'ordinary' happenings which don't have any supernatural 'bout
- them in the first place?
-
- Another question: Is this something like 'the Total ecplise' books from
- Stephen King.. Are there any other books soon to be out?
-
- Anyways.. It sure looks nice in my bookshelf..
-
- Thanks for listening to this random rambling from just another human on a
- rotten planet soon to be destroyed.. .
