- Here's one of the ways that I, as a straight male, understand it. I
- imagine how I would feel if some morning I woke up and discovered that I
- was female. Once I got over the shock of the change, I would notice that
- even though my exterior was different, I was fundamentally the same on the
- inside, that is, still attracted to women. Now (allowing for the fact that
- this has never been documented to actually happen) I can understand how a
- female would have feelings for another female, and it's not difficult to
- extrapolate that to males having feelings for other males. Of course that
- kind of change doesn't happend in the real world, but I think it does allow
- me to just slightly understand how it would be.
