  12. I am interested in purchasing a bass.  I really haven't played much,
  13. but I'm thinking of trying it out.  Can someone quote me a reasonable
  14. price for a used 5-string bass?  I've always enjoyed the sound of a
  15. fretless, but I've heard it's hard to learn on when starting as a 
  16. novice.  Are there any special things I should look for or take into
  17. consideration before purchasing one?
