  16. I have a strat with a maple neck/fretboard.  I bought it because I prefer
  17. maple over rosewood.  I also play blues but I guess it's just a matter
  18. of personal taste.  BTW, SRV also played strats with maple necks/fretboards,
  19. just look at the cover of "Live Alive".
