  14. I just started going rack and had a couple of questions:

  16. What causes MIDI change delay?  Like when I select a patch with a
  17. footcontroller and it takes a split second to get to the new patch.  I 
  18. guess that's just the design of the rack (Quadraverb), but I'd like a
  19. more technical explanation of WHY?

  21. Also, I just read in the new GFTPM mag that the Rockman MIDI Octopus is
  22. the key to getting MIDI control over a channel switching amp.  I assume
  23. what the guy meant was that a single MIDI controller, like  a footswitch,
  24. can simultaneously change channels and patches with a single tap???  
  25. Anyone have experience with the MIDI octopus or similar devices/solutions?
