- I just started going rack and had a couple of questions:
-
- What causes MIDI change delay? Like when I select a patch with a
- footcontroller and it takes a split second to get to the new patch. I
- guess that's just the design of the rack (Quadraverb), but I'd like a
- more technical explanation of WHY?
-
- Also, I just read in the new GFTPM mag that the Rockman MIDI Octopus is
- the key to getting MIDI control over a channel switching amp. I assume
- what the guy meant was that a single MIDI controller, like a footswitch,
- can simultaneously change channels and patches with a single tap???
- Anyone have experience with the MIDI octopus or similar devices/solutions?
- Thanks.
