- I have a strat with a maple and a strat with a rosewood
- and I have to agree with whoever wrote about the rosewood
- having a thick sound...mine plays real warm and makes
- for great blues playing when tuned down to e flat with
- a set of 11 gauge strings on it...plays havoc with the
- frets though...the maple is good for just about everything
- else but rosewood is much better....hell SRV used it
