- I just a beginning Guitarist, so when I browse alt.guitar I am clueless as to
- what all this talk of intonation is. I just read an article that said some-
- thing about having the intonation adjusted when you change the guage of your
- strings. Also that the intonation gets worse as the strings get old. One
- other article I read on fret filing said that when the frets get worn down (as
- Mine definitely are) using intonation gets difficult. Does this have anything
- to do with me having to place my fingers right up against the frets to avoid
- this annoying rattling soud of the string vibrating over the metal fret????
- It makes it tough to get a good sound out of a chord. Could some one PLEASE
- answer these questions for me????? Thanks,
- Bonzo 8-)
