- A friend has a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe (about 1972), that I'm
- interested in buying. It's in reasonable condition. It has the
- following modifications:
-
- 1) The bridge pickup has been changed from the soap bar (mini humbucker)
- to a standard humbucker.
- 2) The machine heads have been replaced with some nice (but not
- original) schaler ones.
- 3) The back side of the body has a section where someone's belt
- buckle has worn the varnish off, and someone else has tried
- to hand varnish the damage.
-
- Other that the above, the guitar is in fine condition.
- I'd be very interested finding out what people think it's
- worth, or if anybody has any comments on it.
