  12. A friend has a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe (about 1972), that I'm
  13. interested in buying.  It's in reasonable condition.  It has the 
  14. following modifications:
  15.  
  16. 1)  The bridge pickup has been changed from the soap bar (mini humbucker)
  17.     to a standard humbucker.
  18. 2)  The machine heads have been replaced with some nice (but not
  19.     original) schaler ones.
  20. 3)  The back side of the body has a section where someone's belt
  21.     buckle has worn the varnish off, and someone else has tried
  22.     to hand varnish the damage.

  24. Other that the above, the guitar is in fine condition.  
  25. I'd be very interested finding out what people think it's
  26. worth, or if anybody has any comments on it.
