  29. I think it means to edit the Makefile and config.h and make change for your system.
  30. If you just want to view images then get something like xloadimage, which your
  31. "viewer" uses by default so you'll have to get it any way.  It is available
  32. by anonymous ftp at export.lcs.mit.edu:/contrib and mirror sites.
