- Pop???? Get real. The only song I can see on there that could
- be considered pop by even a longshot would be "Slice of Life".
- I know Peter Murphy was out during some of the recording, but
- so what? He's on most of the album. Burning has a lot more
- variety musically than most of the previous albums (except
- maybe Sky's Gone Out)... It has some of the really heavy
- material like on the previous albums, but it also has songs
- like "Who Killed Mr. Moonlight" to provide somewhat of a break
- from that. I like it more... If you don't, that's nice, I
- won't bother you if you don't bother me...
- By the way, since when did "heroince induced influence" make
- something more goth?

- Sorry, that's the only DCD album available as a domestic right
- now, and I have more important things to import... As for why
- I consider them goth, the main reason I was willing to put them
- on was because they're brought up enough on this group that I
- thought they must be considered goth by a lot of people (I
- never thought of them that way before reading this group
- either, but whatever...).
- Also, while we're ripping on hits albums, what do you call Press the
- Eject Button and Give Me the Tape? Sure it's live, but it's
- still nothing more than a collection of Bauhaus hits...

-
- If you think you have better suggestions, why don't you post
- them instead of bitching... My main reason for wanting to
- start this was to get suggestions from other people of things I
- might be missing, not to hear them bitch about my personal
- choices...
