- Probably because your opponent can actively do something to lessen the
- damage done (wiggle joystick, press buttons). You're not guaranteed
- a certain amount of damage.

- Oh btw (dunno why that reminded me), but saw the other day a guy who
- could buffer the double hit DP with extreme regularity--really wicked
- combos. so, maybe the triple is bufferable afterall...hmmmm.
