- Well, just a followup on the MK/SF argument. While I agree that there must
- be a good degree of strategy involved in the game, I do have several qualms
- with it which prevent me from accepting and playing it. Basically it boils
- down to this. MK to me at least is a lot like classic SF in the sense that
- there are many flaws which detract from the fairness of game play. One
- obvious such flaw is the fact that when you go up and start doing the jab
- punch craze on someone, they lose far too much energy. Admittedly my
- opinion is biased, and my exposure limited, but to me it compares to classic
- SF, and in no way can equal the level of SF2CE. IMHO CE is the most
- balanced fighting game out there. I mean I have never seen any character
- stay on the machine forever unless the guy playing him was WAY better than
- the people challenging him. Almost any character can beat any other given
- equal ability levels of the players. It is my understanding via talk
- from friends that SubZero is somewhat similar to Guile on classic though
- not as rediculously lopsided... Of course I could be wrong, but this is
- just my opinion...
