- What Political Correctness as a movement really is.
-
- PC is one group of people being so rightous that they
- believe that they have the right to force their beliefs
- and opinions on other people, and take away the right
- to have your own personal beliefs and opinions(in all
- cases except where you agree with PC).
-
- In other words, taking away your first amendment rights
- with the phrase "everyone will be better off".
-
- In the short term this might make things a bit better in
- the world but in the long term it would be too scary to
- even think about...remember, big brother is watching you.
-
- That was my opinion till I had a long debate with a few people.
- In my quest for the ultimate freedom of speech world my debate
- usually ended up at the same point-if you do your best to let
- everybody believe what they want then the world will not be
- better off when you die. However, if you trust that your beliefs
- are rightous and just then do your best to persuade/influence/force
- your views upon everyone else(obviously without violence).
- then when you die, the world will be better off(in your oppinion).
-
-
- I know this is in the wrong group but I didn't start it.
-
-
- Later...(i'll be interested in seeing a thread on this one)
