  13. 1) 24 characters (including the 12 from champion edition)
  14. 2) Bring back Adon and Eagle from SFI
  15. 3) Ken and Ryu shirtless, maybe, maybe not; depends on your threshhold
  16.    of studboy tolerance
  17. 4) New backgrounds for the 12 from champion edition

  19.    Ryu - At the base of a waterfall with lots of rushing and splashing
  20.          water with fish jumping into the air.  I want to see lots of
  21.          pleasant looking "greenery" too.  This scene should also have
  22.          an intermitent "rainfall" effect, not constant mind you.  I
  23.          think this would make the fighting look even more dramatic,
  24.          especially if you're dragon punching.
  25.    Ken - A real "California" beach scene.  People playing volleyball in
  26.          the background.  Roller bladers and skate boarders zooming by
  27.          like the bicyclers in Chun Li's background.  Have Eliza wear a
  28.          real skimpy bikini while she's cheering Ken on.
  29.    Zangief - The Red Square in Moscow with troops marching in formation
  30.          with that unique Russian cadence (if you don't know what I'm
  31.          talking about, watch Schwarzenegger in Red Heat).  Nothing in
  32.          the foreground, I find Zangief's chain link fence and wench-
  33.          pulley system really annoying.
  34.    Guile - In the restaurant area of a shopping mall, with his wife and
  35.          daughter munching on fast food and cheering him on in the
  36.          background.  Logically he wouldn't be wearing his army fatigues,
  37.          so how about a new outfit - possibly something "J. Crew"-ish.
  38.          Khaki colored slacks, brown loafers, button-down collared shirt,
  39.          and a pea-green v-neck sweater.  Of course we can always forego
  40.          logic and keep him in his army duds.
  41.    Honda - In his sumo Dojo with all of his students watching him.
  42.    Blanka - In the streets of Rio de Janeiro during a "Mardi Gras" type
  43.          of celebration.  I don't know what this celebration is called
  44.          offhand but its similar to the Mardi Gras of New Orleans; lots
  45.          of singing, dancing, debauchery, and of course - costumes.  If
  46.          my memory serves me this celebration was shown in one of Roger
  47.          Moore's James Bond films.
  48.    Dhalsim - In front of one of those Hindu temples like the "Masvanatha".
  49.          The Masvanatha is a really ornate and decorative looking building,
  50.          you can check out how it looks in an architectural book if any
  51.          of you are interested.
  52.    Chun Li - In the "Forbidden City".  Watch "The Last Emperor" if you're
  53.          curious.
  54.    Balrog - How about one of those real underground circuit boxing rings.
  55.          With typical marquee nickname matchup posters like "Bruiser"
  56.          Balrog versus "All You Get!" Ken, "Eat My Combo" Guile, or
  57.          "Gasp and Swoon" Vega.  Of course, each and every character's
  58.          marquee nickname would have to be customized for this screen.
  59.          With lots of unsavory types wearing tacky-looking seventies ties,
  60.          slouched fedoras, screaming and holding bills in their hands.
  61.    Vega - How about a new outfit for vega.  I recall that he's a bullfighter,
  62.          so why not have him wear the matador's "suits of light".  He'd look
  63.          even cooler.  I would like to see a real "sexually charged" scene
  64.          with overtones of BD and SM.  I doubt Capcom would do that though.
  65.          Strange I know, but I find myself playing Vega quite a lot lately.
  66.          I'd go into how much he sucks against Blanka but that's not the
  67.          topic of this response.  I must admit out of the boss characters,
  68.          Vega certainly has the most "personality".
  69.    Sagat - In a remote monastery somewhere in the Himalayas, like the
  70.          fabled "Shangri La".  With snow-capped peaks in the background.
  71.          Like Ryu's background, this one could have a "snowfall" effect.
  72.          For some reason, two larger than life figures fighting each
  73.          other and weathering the elements of nature at the same time
  74.          always looks neat.
  75.    Bison - In the headquarters of his evil organization.  A dark, vague,
  76.          formless background with lots of assasin types weilding weapons
  77.          looking on at their master as he fights.  And if Bison gets
  78.          beaten all of the assasins kneel down and bow their heads.
