- Dear Jack,
- The Pummer v Bezmertnii match you mentioned is one of the best example of
- what happens if you bend the rules to a max. If you would take the time
- to read the judges opinion of the move ( Frith Street brought on some
- BOOHs from the audience hanging on to the McDonnel rule... ), it would
- appear as obvious as anyting that this move was
- a) inapprobiate
- b) slow
- c) dangerous ( Bank gambit with low shuffle, match was played on friday)

- The Lausanne papers are recommended material for beginners. Only after
- reading the article about strategy depending on playing hours, the game
- got an entirely new horizon...
- Could anybody recommend advanced stuff ?
