- Ray Dunn (ray@philmtl.philips.ca) has been posting news about the
- Fabrikant case in soc.culture.canada and sci.research.careers from
- time to time. He just posted a November 12 article from the Montreal
- Gazette.

- It seems that Fabrikant has been saying in court things like "...this is
- a unique crime in which the perpetrator of the crime is the victim of
- the crime", and naming various university notables whom he says he
- will call as witnesses to show that "they have to be on trial, not me".
- So far this is all pre-trial hearings; Fabrikant has been ordered to
- stand trial on 4 counts of first-degree murder and other charges, the
- trial date to be set on January 5.
