  26.      I have been led to believe that electors are chosen by their
  27. financial/other loyalty to a given political party.  As a reward for
  28. "faithful service," they get to be electors.  This information comes
  29. from one of my professors, who has the unfortunate tendency to tell
  30. urban legends as truth.  ("Trademarks for pot" & "Eskimo words for
  31. snow" so far.)
