- For a while, various companies haev toughness ads: I remeber the
- Apple fire ad with the cat near the remains. H-P had a calculator
- which went thru a snow blower. I have a hard time believing an
- the 400 is that tough. We have a real need in our helicopter
- research to place microprocessors on the instrumented tips of helicopter
- rotor blades to see what's happening out there. We need a micro which can
- withstand 800-1600 Gs. Obviously the pin out is the major problem,
- but I've not heard from the helicopter guys for a while, so they must have
- met their needs. I guess I should ask them who the vendor is.....
