- I second this! It is a real pleasure to read texts that have real
- umlauts and not some humungous conglomeration of vowels (not to mention
- computerese with "B\ %$#$@!#).

- The pound signs came as pound signs here and the hash marks as hash
- marks. Let's see if they make it back this way. Now I only need to
- convince this crazy OS to not strip any of my *entered* 8-bit
- characters. For some reason the shell or something strips the 8th bit
- despite all my trials with stty and setty. Maybe, it is just Convex
- that doesn't do it right -- the Suns here get it with the same tty
- settings. Strange.
