  32. Look, I know me having a CM-5 poster (or copy or whatever) is not going
  33. to mean TMC sells another machine, or even another 1/1,000 of a machine
  34. but, having these sort of "publicity devices" (thats what Cray call
  35. them) available mean people remember that machine instead of a DEC Mpp
  36. or some other companies engine.  Such material gives good PR to
  37. the company ultimately that may mean something to the bottom line.

  39. I am trying heavily to emphasis that printing/distributing n posters
  40. will NOT guarantee m sales, even where n:m is 1^10:1 I am saying TMC
  41. would be seen as a pack of snobs (for want of a better word) as well as
  42. losing in the PR department too !

  44. I'll just go back to drooling over my Cray (poster) collection.
