  14. The following are tidbits from a conversation I had with a friend once
  15. about who had been geeking longer.  I think he won.

  17. I've been geeking since fur was in fashion and democrats were
  18. president.

  20. I've been a hardcore geek since before PacMan was as popular as
  21. Madonna is now.

  23. I've been geeking since the first geek (a friend of mine) clubbed his
  24. girlfriend over the head with his pocket slide rule and dragged her
  25. off into his cave.

  27. I started geeking when we had to play PONG with rocks.  As a
  28. "programmer", I was responsible for standing on the sidelines and
  29. yelling out instructions:

  31. 10 ROCK bob, phil 
  32. 20 YELL ouch, phil 
  33. 30 MOVE phil, bob's side 
  34. 40 HIT  phil, bob 
  35. 50 CALL ambulance;
