- Yes, there are some of us out there who are still keeping pdp-8's
- alive. I've restored one pdp-8/l, and I'd be interested in another
- pdp-8 -- how large is the one your employers are trying to get rid
- of (shipping from you to me would probably be a non-trivial cost)?
- Also, what model (i.e. an 8/e, 8/i, 8/f; its either on the front panel
- or on the serial number plate on the back of the cpu cabinet). Price
- is pretty much what you can get someone to pay (I paid $5 for the one
- I have) since they don't have any use for real work (unlike the pdp-11
- which is still heavily used).
